I grew up in the Presbyterian church so am familiar with many of the good old hymns. I enjoy the new worships style songs they sing at my church now, but there is something precious about the hymns. A few years ago I came across an Alan Jackson CD of hymns. Evidently, he put it together for his mom, but then decided to go ahead and release it. His mom even sings along with him on one of the songs.
“When We All Get to Heaven” was written in 1898. And if you are feeling a bit blue this morning, perhaps frustrated that you are not able to attend church, remember there are better days coming!
When we all get to heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We’ll sing and shout the victory!

Thank you for sharing this video with the inspirational hymn. Too often these are shoved aside and forgotten about or replaced with the newer songs. Now don’t get me wrong – I am not saying there is anything wrong with the modern music, but the old hymns need to be cherished as well. Thank you Lisa for sharing this. It is a treasure indeed.
Blessings,
Ada

i am so encouraged through this song named WHEN WE GET INTO HEAVEN ,sometimes i could not praise for many problems, and i long to be in heaven and this song encourages me again
Thank you Lisa for this video. This along with tv church was my Sunday worship. I cried with both. Lately, I mst admit, that a lot of days I have been so so ready to go home. The thought of no pain of any kind; who wouldn’t be tempted when suffering endlessly. But I know God has His plan for my life, so I will persevere and try to make Him “proud” of me as every child wants to please His father. I fail miserably most days, it seems. However, I will continue to “trust and obey” (one of many old hymns I treasure. ) as best as I can. It is truly my Father’s world!
