The Hope Builder Award is given about 12 times a year from Rest Ministries to an individual.
What is a Hope Builder?
Scripture tells us that the God of hope can fill us with “all joy and peace” as we trust in Him–so much so that we can overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13).
We see people here at Rest Ministries who are overflowing! We witness in their lives and we see the impact this has on those around them.
Despite their personal challenges–illnesses, finances, relationships, and more–they overflow with hope–using their surplus to build others up with that same hope that they have found in Jesus.
They care.
They’re called.
They commit–without any recognition.

Our Hope Builders
April 2015: Kerryn Wright
“Kerryn is a faithful friend and she is especially appreciated by those in the Rest Ministries Sunroom,” says Karlton Douglas. “She remembers and acknowledges birthdays, prays for those who are hurting and in need, and provides constant encouragement. Her kindness and compassion continually shines through as she lifts up those she communicates with”
