We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. That is why we have adopted this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy informs you about how your personal information is processed and used. We promise that we will take steps to use your personal information only in ways that are compatible with this Privacy Policy.
The following discloses the Privacy Policy of Rest Ministries, Inc.

What information are we collecting and why are we collecting it?
Our web servers do not record e-mail addresses of the visitors. We may request your e-mail address or mailing address for the purposes of sending you the information that you have requested (ie. brochures to give to your church) or to sign you up for a group/service that you have requested (such as daily devotionals.)
Whenever we request the identity of a visitor, we will clearly indicate the purpose of the inquiry before the information is requested. We maintain a strict “No-Spam” policy, that means that we do not intend to sell, rent, or otherwise give your e-mail address to a third-party, without your consent.
Rest Ministries will from time to time send e-mail announcing new products and services. At the bottom of every email is an unsubscribe link. If you click it you will be removed immediately. Occasionally, depending on the servers it may take up to 48 hours, but that is rare. If you ask us to remove you from these mailings we will do so, but it may take a day or two before our administration is able to do it by hand. We encourage you to just click the unsubscribe link so it’s immediate.
If you choose to supply your postal address in an online form, you may receive occasional mailings from us, for example a postcard to encourage you or let you know of a new item.
Using Rest Ministries Programs
When you sign up for an account in a Rest Ministries forum (such as the Rest Ministries Sunroom) your name or alias is recorded solely for purposes of maintaining your own account within the forums. This information is not used to monitor your activity within a forum, nor is it used to identify you outside of Rest Ministries in any way.
Please be aware that although we make every effort to keep your information private, prayer requests, pen pal listings, and a few other select groups, go through a service we use called YahooGroups and these messages may be made public, or may be able to be “hacked into” by people unaffiliated and unknown to Rest Ministries.
Your purchases
If you choose to purchase something in our shop at illnessbooks.com, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number, and the cards expiration date. We also request a phone number in case there are any questions about your order, as we have found email addresses are often entered incorrectly or expired within hours of the submission of a form and then we have no way of reaching you.
By providing us with your email address, it allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status. This information may also be used by us to notify you of related product and services, but will not be shared or sold to third parties for any purpose.
Changing your privacy settings in the Sunroom
When you sign up to become a member of our social network, The Sunroom, you are creating an account through WordPress services. Your information never leaves our web site. To edit what emails you receive, notifications, or what information is shared with other members, go to Edit My Profile and choose the TAB that says “Privacy.” In this way you can adjust the settings to your personal needs.
The defaults are shown below. You can change the settings so that you have complete control over who sees what.
Your personal information
We have been around since 1996 and have never given any third party a single item of personal information. We do not share it, sell it, or distribute it in any way. We love you and that you trust us with your personal information is a great honor and responsibility we take seriously.
