Most of us are on a budget & saving for our kid’s college education is one of those things we know we should be doing, but we just don’t know where that money will come from! Well, think again.
Greg McBride, senior financial analyst at BankRate.com recently told Woman’s Day magazine that it’s easier than we think. “If you take $5 every week & put it into a 529 college savings play earning 5% interest, at the end of 10 years you’ll have $3.371 painlessly saved for your child’s education.”
