In less than 30 minutes you can have a cute snack to bring to a July 4th event.
The 4th of July is this Saturday and perhaps you have been invited to a get together. Bringing something for everyone to munch on may feel like too big of a project to take on. These patriotic printables can help you make a simple snack festive in just minutes.
1. Buy Ziplock-style bags. The printable contains toppers that are 8 inches wide and 6.25 inches wide. The larger one fits quart bags, the smaller one “snack” bags.
2. Fill the bags with goodies.
You can be creative here and put whatever you wish inside! If your crowd has children you may do something like Cherrios and red, white, and blue skittles. For a healthy fruit snack, add a few red grapes, small marshmallows, and blueberries. Whatever is inside doesn’t have to be red, white, and blue, but it keeps it extra festive.
3. Seal the bag up.
4. Open the file that contains the printables. Print out the page of printable you need. Then fold the topper over and staple to the bag.
All done! And cute too!
The printable also includes some round tags, perfect to tie onto a baggie of goodies or put it on a cupcake as a topper. Or make your own with some of the extra stylish patriotic words included.
If you are doing bags with refrigerated goodies, you can pre-bag the food., but avoid putting the paper inside a refrigerator or cooler or it will get damp and wilt. Just take the bags and the toppers to your event and let the kids help you out.
