6 Responses to How to Find Rest When Fear Leaves You Restless

  1. Shelly that was exactly what I needed to read right now! Fears and, illness related problems are all around me. But God knows these things. And through His Grace I can access His peace.

Love you and pray for you daily,

    Sandy Platt

  2. So appropriate for me reading this today Shelly – and interesting that I’ve been trying to write a piece about rest all through January, that has many similar thoughts and insights to what you’ve shared. Maybe God’s needing me to focus in on this much more 🙂
With thanks for what you’ve shared,
    Fiona

  3. Dear Shelly, it’s so simple what Jesus says to us. The words are comforting no matter how old or young we are. It rings true in our spirit, heart and mind.
But I have to hear it over and over for His words to speak to me about rest.
It’s wonderful that what He says requires us just as we are. I remember too how privacy and a quiet home is so elusive when children busily living their lives are also still living at home. For me it was early before they woke that worked. I was a lot healthier back then. So maybe after their bedtime is better for many of us.

  4. Thank you Shelly. GOS IS OUR QUIET PLACE. AND OUR COMFORTER AND GAVE US HOPE.
    TO YOU LISA; I’VE SUFFERED
5 years long suffering. Now GOD
Gave me hope and to keep going on. I don’t have any diagnosis in brain or internal disease; little bit of back ache. Emotionally from the past. I thank you Lisa for your time and prayer. And I remember SNOW. That my sin like white as
SNOW. HE erases all. And GOD SET ME FREE. EVEN NOT COMPLETELY.

  5. GOD IS OUR QUIET PLACE AND OUR COMFORTER AND OUR HOPE SHELLEY . THANKS TO YOU BOTH
    LISA.
