  1. Oh wow Bronlynn! 🙂

That piece of writing is EXCELLENT! I’ve never seen that before, but oh how true it is. It’s really helped me today. Your message & prayer have really spoken to me. Thank YOU! God bless. LOTSoluv Kerryn

  2. Thanks for this Bronlynn ☺
I think many of us can identify with the way we could take good health for granted, and other signs in those words that show how God knows best.

May we all continue to trust – and to learn His ways for us.

  3. This was so interesting Bronnlyn! Many times at the beginning of my illness I begged to be healed. As we all know, His answer was no. I can see now that if I got my way, I would not have the walk with the Lord that I have now. I would not be as close to the Lord at all, or as dependent. I am so thankful that my Father said no. I read just recently in a book by Joni Eareckson Tada, “The Lord who said, Go,” was the same Lord who sais, “I am with you always.” He is with us, not obeying us. Right? I am so thankful!

    Such an encouraging devotional!

    • Thanks Sandy. I agree with what you said about not getting our way being a good thing!

      Praying for you!

  4. Wow, Bronlynn!

This could not have come at a better time. In a week, I am going in for a 5th back surgery on a fusion that failed. The vertebrae are cracking around the hardware and I am in horrible pain. I have a friend who is in a similar situation, who was saying how mad she was at God. I couldn’t get the words out correctly, but your poem, says exactly what I was trying to say…..

Sometimes I get so jealous of my friends, running errands all weekend and taking their kids everywhere, with no problems and I can barely get one thing in a day. Then I think of my past and every time I thought God was not listening, it turned out he was……

  5. Bronlynn, thank you so much for this encouraging devotional! I agree with Sandy as well. I would not know Jesus like I do now if He had healed me like I begged for Him too. It has driven me straight into His arms, like it has many of us! And even thought life is hard, we know that HIS way is perfect. One day we will see so clearly what we now see dimly. O glorious day!!!

The Lord bless you and keep you dear sister,

  6. Bronlynn, just loved the wisdom of your words and poem you shared.
So true, too much of a “good” thing and we take all for granted, or don’t realize the ‘gift” we have in needing our Lord as we do every day.
Thank you so much for sharing with us today!
    Blessings, Di
