The World Health Organization reported that by 2010 cancer will be the number one killer worldwide. More than 12.4 million people in the world suffer from cancer; 7.6 million people are expected to die from some form of cancer. Do you have a friend or loved one diagnosed with cancer? Here are some practical things you can do to help: Don’t ask, “How are you?” Ask, “Do you feel like talking?” If the person is in pain, keep the visit short.
