Today we remember our soldiers, those who have served in the past and those who serve today. Those who gave their lives, and those who are still on this earth but whose lives will never be the same. Without their sacrifice, we would not be able to worship our Lord Jesus freely. Today is not about BBQs and parties at the lake. It's not about the sales at your local store. It's about honoring a gift that men and women have given to our country for many decades, and those who are serving today who are not able to sit around and eat the burgers with their families because they are still protecting our religious freedom.
